Procurement Manager
Key Responsibilities
(i) Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align sourcing strategies, demand planning, pricing, and supply requirements with business objectives.
Provide market intelligence and commodity insights to support business planning, decision-making, innovation, and new product development initiatives.
(ii) Category Sourcing, Supplier & Contract Management
Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, value, and supply performance.
Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance reviews while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.
Develop and maintain supplier partnerships to enhance supply continuity, collaboration, and communication.
(iii) Supply Assurance & Risk Management
Ensure supply continuity through effective forecasting, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and contingency planning.
Identify and mitigate supply chain, market, quality, and operational risks to support business continuity.
Carry out suppliers’ evaluation to ensure supplier compliance with company requirement in price, quality service and safety.
(iv) Procurement Excellence & Governance
Drive procurement process excellence through effective governance, controls, systems.
Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support informed decision-making.
Identify and champion cost reduction projects, including periodic updates for management.
Monitor market trends and negotiate favorable material pricing to support cost objectives.
(v) Sustainability & ESG
Promote responsible sourcing practices and supplier engagement to support sustainability and ESG objectives.
Drive environmental, social, and ethical sourcing initiatives across the supplier base in collaboration with key stakeholders.
QEHSMS Responsibility
Implement and abide by requirements set out in the Company’s Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System, ISO and OHSAS standards and applicable legal and other requirements.
