About the Team The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions
- including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.

Responsibilities: As a Global Consumer Financing Product Manager, you will be deeply involved in managing the full lifecycle of our two core product lines — BNPL and Personal loan — from market analysis and user research to product design, launch execution and iterative optimization.
We are looking for someone with strong curiosity and a strong sense of ownership to work with us to:
- Define and optimize core product journeys: Take ownership of analyzing and optimizing key conversion funnels, identify user pain points, and design product solutions that can significantly improve user experience and core business metrics.
- Drive business growth while balancing risk: Work with solution and growth teams to plan and execute strategies for acquisition, activation and retention, and partner closely with the risk team to strike the optimal balance between business expansion and risk control.
- Drive cross-regional and cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with local teams in different countries and regions, as well as engineering, design, legal and compliance partners, to ensure product solutions meet global consistency requirements while also fitting local market needs and regulatory requirements.
- Lead data-driven experimentation: Use in-depth data analysis to define and monitor core business metrics, and design and run A/B tests to validate product hypotheses and drive continuous product iteration.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s) - Bachelor's degree or above from a well-recognized university, all majors are welcome, with STEM disciplines such as Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics preferred. - Excellent logical and structured thinking, with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable components and clearly articulate your reasoning process.
- Outstanding communication, presentation and coordination skills, with the ability to proactively collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds to drive projects forward. Preferred Qualification(s) - Strong interest in international business and the consumer financing space, with a strong sense of ownership and self-motivation, and the ability to keep learning and growing in a fast-paced, highly challenging environment.
