Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports and management presentations for the Directors, highlighting financial performance, budget versus actual results, cash flow position, inventory performance, key variances, trends, and recommendations for strategic and operational decision-making.

  • Handle full sets of accounts, including monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries.

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts.

  • Perform financial analysis against budgets and forecasts, including explanation of variances and trends.

  • Oversee statutory compliance matters, including preparation of financial statements and tax filings.

  • Review Accounts Payable (AP) entries and staff expense claims submitted by finance staff.

  • Support financial planning and analysis for sales, cost, and inventory.

  • Liaise with the merchandising department on month-end inventory costing.

  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and relevant government authorities as required.

  • Manage compliance-related matters, including grant applications and claims.

  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations and effective collaboration.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting and financial workflows.

  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

  • Strong professional ethics, leadership qualities, and personal integrity.

  • Proficiency in accounting software; experience with AutoCount will be a distinct advantage.

  • Prior experience in the E-commerce industry is an added advantage.

  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and prudent in financial management.

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
