Service Technician

Yizeta Pte Ltd is looking for a hands-on and responsible Service Technician to support the assembly, installation, servicing, and maintenance of our specialised decontamination equipment and systems.

You will work with our engineering and project teams in the workshop and at customer sites. Training will be provided for Yizeta's specialised equipment and decontamination systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical equipment, control panels, pumps, piping, tubing, valves, sensors, and related components.

• Perform wiring, cable termination, tubing connections, equipment mounting, and general assembly work.

• Assist engineers with equipment fabrication, modification, testing, and preparation.

• Carry out basic equipment checks and assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

• Install, set up, and service equipment at customer sites.

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems.

• Identify equipment faults, leaks, loose connections, damaged parts, or abnormal operation.

• Replace worn or defective components where required.

• Support the setup, operation, and maintenance of decontamination systems.

• Prepare hoses, tubing, nozzles, sensors, monitoring equipment, and other accessories for projects.

• Assist trained personnel during decontamination and validation work.

• Maintain proper service, maintenance, and equipment records.

• Maintain tools, equipment, spare parts, and good housekeeping in the workshop.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Facilities Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Candidates with relevant hands-on technical experience may also be considered.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.

• Able to use common hand tools and power tools safely.

• Able to understand basic technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

• Basic computer skills for reports and records.

• Able to communicate in English.

• Willing to perform hands-on work in the workshop and at customer sites.
