Marketing Intern

Your Role

Mighty Jaxx will be carrying out a Korean Artist Collab Event across the next few months, and we are looking to bring on board a Digital Marketing Intern to assist the team in preparation for this event. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with strategising campaign assets, content development, and outreach initiatives. Working alongside our Marketing team, you will bolster our daily operations to ensure the seamless delivery of campaigns preceding our retail activations. Your contributions will span across brand-specific collaborations and critical research projects, assisting with various marketing functions including content production, social media coordination, and community engagement. As a valued team member, you will leverage your digital-native expertise and fresh perspective to elevate our creative brainstorming sessions and overall campaign execution.

Responsibilities

Campaign Coordination Support

• Assist in coordinating marketing campaigns for the Korean Artist Collab event, ensuring seamless alignment across teams, and ensuring campaign content fits the brief.

• Maintain an updated tracker for deliverables and vendor communications.

• Work with the internal marketing team to compile assets, track deadlines, and manage approvals.

• Ensure campaign materials are finalised well in advance before launch.

• Work on iterative launches, compiling learnings from previous campaigns and using them to target subsequent campaigns better. 

Social Media Content Support

• Assist in creating social media posts for Mighty Jaxx’s product launches (separate from the Korean Artist Collab Event).

• Track engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments) and compile a basic performance report.

Retail & Trade Marketing Support

• Assist team in drafting retailer social media content decks. Ensure each deck includes key messaging, post templates, and sample visuals.

• Collaborate with the trade marketing team to gather necessary assets and engaging content.

• Contribute to retailer briefing materials and ensure social media alignment with collab partner’s guidelines & Mighty Jaxx’s internal guidelines. 

Market & Competitor Research

• Conduct monthly competitor analysis on marketing strategies.

• Summarise findings, highlighting at least three key insights.

• Submit research reports on a monthly basis.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.

• Prior experience in social media management, content marketing, or marketing research preferred.

• Proficiency in design and content tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar software is a bonus.

• Ability to analyse marketing data, track key performance metrics, and generate insights.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines for content and campaign execution.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

• Knowledge of the toys, collectibles, or lifestyle industries is a plus.

• Passion for brand marketing and staying up to date with industry trends.
