Programme Associate (Internship)

Being an intern at StartupX offers you a unique opportunity to experience the world of innovation. While you intern with us, you can expect meaningful and productive projects to expose you to the early-stage startup ecosystem, and develop your skills in various business functions. You will get first-hand exposure to the realities of entrepreneurship, starting up, consulting and all tenets of a growth-stage business.

The role.

The internship role would focus on working with our programme managers with the ultimate goal of delivering successful programmes and initiatives.

Depending on the current priorities and candidates' capability, you can expect to support our programmes and startups through its entire lifecycle.

While experience in the early-stage startup or innovation ecosystem is preferred, it is not required.

The duties.

Programme interns supporting our innovation programmes end-to-end has many aspects and not all can be listed, but to give a rough idea of the role, here are some of the things that you will do:

• Work with innovation managers to plan and execute on programmes, ranging from hackathon, corporate innovation, pitching competitions, and accelerators.
• Assist to deliver best possible experience to the startups or participants of our programmes
• Assist with the sourcing, management and relationship building with startups
• Work with marketing manager to execute on marketing campaigns and content development
• Source for seed stage startups for corporate partners, investments and programmes
• Assist in improving operational efficiency
• Conduct market research and obtaining insights that are impactful

• Able to learn quickly and operate independently
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
