Key Responsibilities

1. Category & Competitor Analysis

Kickstart and maintain Blood's monthly competitor intelligence function – tracking how our competitive set is moving across channels and translating that into actionable insight for the team.

  • Build and maintain a monthly tracker covering competitor activity across:

    • Pricing and promotional mechanics

    • Display formats and in-store presence

    • E-commerce listings, PDPs, and digital shelf

    • Creative messaging, campaign themes, and social content

  • Synthesise findings into a short monthly POV (1–2 pages) that surfaces what is changing in the competitive landscape and what it may signal for Blood's positioning, pricing, or comms strategy

  • Identify whitespace opportunities and flag any urgent shifts that require a faster response

2. Affiliates Support

Provide practical support to the Ecommerce Manager (who leads the affiliates programme) and the Brand & Content Executive (who handles affiliate outreach) – helping both to run the programme more efficiently.

  • Support the Ecommerce Manager with performance data pulls, affiliate tracking, and analysis to help inform decisions on the programme

  • Help document what is working across affiliate content – what formats, messages, and partners are driving engagement and conversion – so findings are accessible to both stakeholders

  • Maintain a clean, up-to-date view of the current affiliates roster including basic performance data and content categorisation

3. Support for Upcoming NPD Launches

Provide hands-on support to the marketing team in planning and executing go-to-market activities for new product launches.

  • Assist in developing TTL (through-the-line) launch materials and timelines

  • Track campaign milestones and flag risks to ensure launches stay on schedule

  • Support ideation, execution and tracking for initiatives

4. Brand Events & Retailer Activation Planning

Support the planning and execution of brand-led events and retailer activations that bring Blood to life in market

What We're Looking For

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

  • Strong analytical instincts — comfortable building trackers, synthesising data, and forming a clear point of view

  • Commercially curious with a genuine interest in brand, retail, and consumer behaviour

  • Excellent written communication skills — able to translate complexity into clear, concise outputs

  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing channels

Learning Objectives

Strategic & Commercial Thinking

  • Learn to read a market — understanding what competitor moves signal about broader category shifts, not just reacting to individual tactics

  • Understand how channel fit changes depending on a product's audience and need-state

Campaign & Launch Execution

  • Gain real exposure to what a TTL launch looks like end-to-end — from brief to in-market

  • Understand how marketing, ecommerce, and trade teams need to align for a launch to land well

  • Build confidence owning a workstream within a team, including managing timelines and flagging risks

Digital & Performance Literacy

  • Develop a working understanding of how affiliate channels function — the relationship between content, trust, and conversion

  • Learn to interpret performance data and distil it into a clear so-what for the team

Communication & Stakeholder Skills

  • Practice writing concisely for a professional audience with a clear point of view (the monthly POVs are good training ground for this)

  • Get comfortable presenting findings to a team, not just completing tasks in the background
