Job Purpose

The Digital Learning Content Intern will support the development of digital learning materials for technical and operational training. This internship gives hands-on exposure to video production, e-learning development, AI-powered content creation, and instructional design in a power generation environment.

This role is suitable for students who are passionate about creating videos and digital content, and who want to build practical workplace learning skills.

Key Responsibilities  Digital Learning Content Support

  • Assist in developing digital learning content from training materials, procedures, and technical documents.
  • Support the creation of interactive learning modules and multimedia learning resources.
  • Help organise and maintain learning content, media files, and digital assets.

Video Production Support

  • Assist in planning, scripting, and storyboarding training videos.
  • Participate in on-site filming at power plant facilities.
  • Edit videos and support basic improvements such as subtitles, graphics, and audio cleanup.
  • Organise video files and project folders.

AI-Powered Content Creation

  • Explore and use AI tools to create visuals, voiceovers, video assets, and learning content.
  • Support the production of AI-assisted training materials.
  • Learn how AI can improve content development efficiency and learner engagement.

Project Support

  • Support learning projects under the guidance of the Technical Learning team.
  • Assist with feedback collection and content revisions.
  • Help upload and maintain learning content on learning platforms where required.
  • Assist with simple coordination and administrative tasks linked to digital learning projects.

Qualifications

Must Have

  • Passion for creating videos, multimedia content, or digital storytelling.
  • Interest in learning video production, e-learning development, and AI content tools.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stay organised and manage assigned tasks.

Preferred

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Multimedia, Media Production, Digital Design, Communications, Education, Learning Design, or related fields.
  • Basic experience in video editing through school projects, personal projects, freelance work, or content creation.
  • Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar applications.
  • Interest in AI tools for content creation.
  • A portfolio, YouTube channel, social media content, or personal video projects will be an advantag

Base / Location: PSPS (Pulau Seraya Power Station), 3 Seraya Avenue, Jurong Island, Singapore 628209

Company transportation will be provided from designated pickup points where applicable.

Contract Type: Internship (Minimum 12 weeks; up to 24 weeks)

Working Hours: Office hours (Mon-Fri); occasional filming/voiceover outside core hours with prior notice

Reports To: Technical Learning Manager

Safety & Security (Jurong Island)

  • Jurong Island is a Protected Area; persons/vehicles require valid passes for entry. Clearance must be maintained throughout the internship.
  • Attendance at Safety Induction Course (SIC) and compliance with station WSH rules are mandatory for onsite work/visits.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in designated plant areas (e.g., safety helmet, hearing protection).
