About the Role
Join the Engagement & Fundraising team at SAVH and play a key role in bringing our stories, campaigns and events to life through compelling visual communications. You will work on real-world projects that support fundraising, donor engagement and public awareness initiatives, while helping to make a meaningful impact in the lives of persons with visual impairment.

Key Responsibilities
Design and produce communication and marketing materials, including:

  • Newsletters

  • Donation appeals

  • Social media assets (including graphics, videos and animations)

  • Event posters and banners

  • Brochures, flyers and other promotional collateral

  • Presentation slides and digital assets

Support the development and maintenance of SAVH’s visual identity across print and digital platforms.

Assist with photography, photo selection and basic image editing for events and organisational communications.

Assist with the layout and formatting of reports, publications and donor engagement materials.

Provide creative support for fundraising campaigns, donor engagement initiatives and corporate events.

Assist with event planning, on-site event support and post-event follow-up.

Provide administrative and logistical support for fundraising activities, donor engagement initiatives and events as required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Digital Media or a related discipline.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop). Experience with Canva and basic video editing software is an advantage.

  • Strong eye for design, layout, typography and visual storytelling.

  • Creative, proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Photography, videography or motion graphics skills are an advantage.

  • A portfolio showcasing your design work is preferred.
