Ophthalmic Assistant Intern

Job Description

• Assist the optometrist to perform basic eye examinations using specialised equipment to check ocular health and diagnose symptoms of any general health conditions or any vision defects
• Communicate with patients to get detailed case histories
• Provide professional advices and solutions to patients
• Keep and maintain detailed patient records of their eye health
• Maintain all equipment and measuring devices to be in good working condition
• Assist doctors in operating theatre
