Audit - Technology Assurance | Winter Internship (Nov 2026 to Jan 2027)

Our Technology Assurance team provides this assurance to stakeholders, ranging from Financial Audit teams to the senior management in government agencies, banks, and private companies as they embark on their digital journey. Working at the intersection of business, technology and risk, you will gain exposure to how organisations leverage technology, data and digital platforms to support their operations and manage risk in an increasingly digital environment.

We have:

• Collaborative opportunities with Financial Audit colleagues to evaluate IT systems in the context of their impact on business processes and enhance audit quality.
• Engagements to provide assurance to third parties who require an independent party to review, assess and evaluate IT controls and/or compliance with IT-related regulations, including assurance engagements such as SOC and OSPAR reporting.
• Opportunities for you to identify and communicate technology-related findings and recommendations to stakeholders; assess the impact of these risks on the audit/assurance engagement and advise stakeholders accordingly.
• Exposure to diverse global and local businesses and technology used by these organisations, including enterprise systems, data analytics tools and emerging technologies, supported by innovative platforms and automated solutions like KPMG Clara.
