About the Role

As a Real Estate Intern/Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in managing a diverse property portfolio, streamlining operations, and handling administrative tasks to enhance overall performance. You will be exposed to key financial, operational, and administrative aspects of real estate while collaborating closely with landlords, internal teams, and stakeholders. This role will help you develop strategic thinking, financial analysis skills, and effective communication, all of which are essential for a successful career in the real estate industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in overseeing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Support financial analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and portfolio enhancement.
  • Support in maintaining strong relationships with landlords, addressing concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist in managing lease agreements, renewals, and negotiations to maximise occupancy and rental income.
  • Ensure properties comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about real estate trends and competitive insights.
  • Coordinate with property management teams to oversee maintenance and repair activities within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, such as market fluctuations and tenant issues, to safeguard portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and revenue, to drive portfolio success.
  • Track and report key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

The skills, attitude, and experience we require are:

  • Currently pursuing or holder of a Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in real estate and an understanding of housing market trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with landlords, tenants, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Sales Force and Google Workspace.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organised, and capable of handling challenges effectively.
  • A proactive problem-solver with an analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
