IT INTERN - ID Admin / User Access Management
About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Intern (ID Administration / User Access Management) to join our team at CTC Global Pte. Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in the IT industry and gain hands-on exposure to user account administration, Active Directory (AD), application access provisioning and de-provisioning, User Access Management (UAM), and access-related service requests within an enterprise environment. This is a 6-month internship contract that will provide valuable practical exposure and experience. You will work alongside experienced professionals who will provide guidance and support throughout your internship.
Key responsibilities
- Support ID Administration and User Access Management (UAM) activities in accordance with defined processes and procedures.
- Perform user account creation, modification, enablement, disablement, and deletion based on approved service requests.
- Support Active Directory (AD) account administration, including user accounts and relevant access groups.
- Perform application access provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning based on approved access requests.
- Support Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) activities to ensure appropriate access is provisioned, modified, or removed according to user lifecycle requirements.
- Process requests for the addition or removal of users from security or application access groups, where applicable.
- Support password reset, account unlock, account activation, and account-related requests within the defined ID Administration scope.
- Verify that required approvals and supporting information are available before processing access requests.
- Update and maintain accurate records of access requests and ID Administration activities in the relevant service management or tracking system.
- Assist with User Access Management reviews and access validation exercises, where required.
About you
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Diploma or Degree programme in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with users and support teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong interest in Identity and Access Management (IAM), ID Administration, User Access Management, cybersecurity, IT service management, or enterprise IT operations.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and process access requests accurately.
- Ability to handle user and access-related information professionally and maintain appropriate confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with users, vendors, application teams, security teams, and other IT support functions.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and quality work.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, systems, processes, and access management practices in an enterprise IT environment.
