IT Engineer [Network / Firewall Sophos]

Working Days: Monday - Friday
Basic Salary: $4,500 - $6,000

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, network connectivity, and general user issues.

• Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, office equipment, and network printers.

• Perform basic network and connectivity troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, switches, and firewall issues.

• Support basic Active Directory administration, including user account creation, password resets, access permissions, domain access, and Group Policy requirements.

• Assist with the administration and troubleshooting of Sophos Firewall and other IT security systems.

• Coordinate with external vendors for IT equipment procurement, repairs, warranty claims, quotations, and support services.

• Support IT onboarding and offboarding, equipment deployment, inventory management, system documentation, and escalation of complex issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Strong knowledge of Windows devices, hardware troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, printers, and IT equipment deployment.

• Familiar with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network troubleshooting.

• Experience with Active Directory, user access management, Sophos Firewall, IT security practices, vendor coordination, and IT procurement.
