IT Project Manager (Applications & Cloud Projects)

Salary: SGD $5,000 - $6,500 per month

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of web-based and cloud-enabled projects across multiple business initiatives, including customer-facing digital platforms and WeChat Mini Program-related projects.

This role is ideal for a project management professional who possesses a strong foundation in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and vendor management, while maintaining sufficient technical understanding to effectively collaborate with developers, cloud engineers, and technical teams.

We are looking for a candidate who is project-management focused with good technical understanding, rather than a highly technical specialist. The successful candidate should be comfortable driving project delivery, coordinating teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of web and cloud-based projects.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, SMEs, and technical teams to gather and validate business requirements.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and facilitate discussions to define project scope and solutions.

• Coordinate with development teams, cloud teams, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage project schedules, deliverables, risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, deployment planning, and post-implementation activities.

• Coordinate project meetings, workshops, trainings, status reviews, and project communications.

• Prepare project documentation, meeting minutes, status updates, risk logs, and governance reports.

• Work closely with Portfolio Leads and stakeholders to resolve project challenges and minimize delivery risks.

• Support deployment activities, including occasional after-hours or weekend work when system downtime is required.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Degree in Information Technology, Business IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience managing technology projects involving applications, digital platforms, or cloud-based solutions.

• Experience delivering end-to-end projects across planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and support phases.

Project Management Skills

• Strong project planning, coordination, and delivery management experience.

• Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and client management skills.

• Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

• Strong requirements gathering and business analysis capabilities.

• Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within tight timelines.

Technical Knowledge

• Good understanding of software development and system implementation processes.

• Familiarity with web applications, digital platforms, APIs, or enterprise business systems.

• Good understanding of AWS cloud architecture and cloud-based solutions.

• Ability to communicate effectively with developers, cloud engineers, business users, and vendors.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with any of the following will have an advantage:

• Experience managing customer-facing digital platforms or web applications.

• Exposure to eCommerce projects.

• Knowledge of WeChat Mini Programs.

• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.

• Exposure to cloud migration or digital transformation initiatives.
