THE ROLE
The Site Quality Engineer, Welding Inspector (Contracting 2 Years) is responsible for:
- Inspect mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, pressure vessels, tanks, and skids upon delivery and installation.
- Review and maintain quality documents, inspection records, technical drawings, and P&IDs.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Investigate quality issues, prepare corrective actions, and follow up until closure.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams on all QA/QC matters
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in Semiconductor, Electronics, Water Treatment, or Industrial projects.
- Welding Inspector certification is required or strongly preferred; Thermoplastic Welding certification is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of mechanical equipment inspection, technical drawings, P&IDs, and construction site quality processes.
