About the role

Lead end-to-end asset lifecycle management for GPUs, servers, and other critical IT infrastructure. This role ensures accurate asset records, inventory visibility, shipment tracking, deployment registration, RMA management, and audit readiness across OEMs, warehouses, data centres, and operational environments. You will establish effective controls and systems to maintain full traceability and support the reliable allocation and movement of high-value technology assets.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the complete lifecycle of GPUs, servers, and other critical IT infrastructure assets.

  • Maintain accurate asset records, including serial numbers, asset tags, models, configurations, ownership, locations, statuses, shipment information, and responsible parties.

  • Maintain inventory records across OEMs, in-transit shipments, warehouses, data centres, and RMA locations.

  • Track GPU and server quantities by project, customer, entity, location, rack, cluster, and deployment status.

  • Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile results against system records, shipping documents, and financial records.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies while establishing controls to prevent asset loss, misplacement, unauthorised movement, or incorrect allocation.

  • Work with Procurement, Logistics, OEMs, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and data centre teams to track equipment movements.

  • Maintain shipment and delivery records, including purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, airway bills or bills of lading, serial numbers, delivery confirmations, and receiving records.

  • Coordinate asset tagging, receiving procedures, and documentation with warehouse and data centre teams.

  • Coordinate with Data Centre and Engineering teams to register equipment after delivery and installation.

  • Keep physical assets and system records synchronised throughout the deployment lifecycle and support cluster-level reconciliation after installation and commissioning.

  • Establish and maintain end-to-end RMA tracking for GPUs, servers, and other hardware, including complete RMA histories and links between replacement units and original assets.

  • Implement and maintain an asset management system, ERP module, IT Asset Management system, or other digital asset tracking solution.

  • Evaluate and recommend systems and tools based on operational requirements, and establish standards for asset master data, naming conventions, asset IDs, serial numbers, status codes, and location codes.

  • Maintain complete and auditable records for critical GPU and IT assets.

  • Prepare asset reports and supporting documentation for internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and management reporting.

  • Support requirements related to NVIDIA, BIS, customs, export controls, customers, lenders, insurers, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Maintain records that demonstrate the complete chain of custody and location history of critical equipment.

  • Prepare regular reports covering asset inventory, movements, deployment status, RMA activity, discrepancies, and exceptions.

  • Experience managing high-value technology assets such as GPUs, servers, networking equipment, storage systems, or data centre infrastructure is highly preferred.

  • Strong experience with serial number-level asset tracking and inventory reconciliation.

  • Experience with ERP, WMS, ITAM, CMDB, or other inventory and asset management systems.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse, logistics, shipment, receiving, and asset movement processes.
