Tasks and duties
- Conceptualising designs and creating blueprints.
- Assessing feasibility of a construction project in terms of environmental laws, zoning laws, land features and budget.
- Overseeing the construction process onsite.
- Processing government permits for construction projects.
- Presenting construction plans to clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
Architects use skills in mathematics, aesthetics, project management and model making, and have an awareness of the latest government protocols on construction. They are the primary advisors for Engineers, Construction Workers, and Interior Designers.
