Audit Managers plan and perform internal or external audits while also supervising a team of Auditors. Their work typically involves paper work, reviewing financial documents such as audit findings. They spend most of their time in meetings, either with their staff to prepare for audits, or presenting audit reports to management. As Managers, they are also tasked with staff development.

How to become an Audit Manager
To become an Audit Manager you need a bachelor degree in accountancy and industry experience.

Graduate with a bachelor degree in accountancy.

Seek ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.
- 3.
Gain at least eight to 10 years’ worth of experience in an audit-related role.
- 4.
After gaining experience as an Audit Manager, consider progressing to a role such as Information Technology Auditor or Audit Director.
