What's it like to be a Store Supervisor?
Store Supervisors are in charge of the internal activities of a store. They report to the Store Manager, who focuses on the external relations of a store. The Store Supervisor also implements the Store Manager’s plans in the store’s daily operations. They train and supervise store staff, manage its finances, and oversee store inventory. Customer service, leadership, and attention to detail are key skills for the role. Store Managers work in retail outlets such as chain stores, pharmacies and department stores.

- Monitoring store cashflow and managing budgets.

How to become a Store Supervisor
A bachelor degree in a relevant field is typically required to work as a Store Supervisor, although exceptional store staff can be promoted to the position with years of experience and excellent performance. Knowledge of the store’s target market and customer needs is beneficial, as well as knowledge in sales and marketing.
