Good products that i am still using now
The good thingsAttentive in details, literature in art and science, good vibes and good staff benefits
The challengesI hope the communications can be more transparent, more details and fair to all the staff. Not only setting higher expectation for a certain role.

    Floor staff are incomprehensible
The good thingsDiverse product range to suit current trends and demands
The challengesTraining for new comers isn't well structured, lacks comprehensiveness. Existing staff in certain stores are extremely attention-seeking and thrive on unnecessary gossip. Service attitudes from them depends on how much you're purchasing.

The good thingsInteresting work surroundings, clear outline of approaches to products, wide product range, interesting philosophy.
The challengesCustomer base are different but changing to commercialised ones as the business grows, lack of trust within management, poor communication in spoken and written documents between management, presence of bias in employing external talents instead of promoting internal ones.

    Different experience as employee
The good thingsNice environments, non-conventional customers, interesting products.
The challengesWorking here is so dramatically different from experiencing it as a customer. Poor command of English from some employees. Overly focused on KPIs and makes no difference from commercial beauty companies like Loreal or Estee Lauder groups. Lack of flexibility in roster planning as well.

    Company culture is not adhered
The good thingsProduct benefits, attractive staff discounts, interesting company culture.
The challengesIronically, the culture is not adhered to. Traditional form of hard selling has been involved and KPI monitoring created a lot of unnecessary stress and tension among colleagues and management. Unreasonable amount of targets to hit. Internal promotion is extremely bleak.

    Enjoyable and fun
The good thingsworking environment was aesthetically pleasing, and employee perks. Induction was well conducted to allow newcomers to ease into the workflow.
The challengesProduct knowledge required a month or so to be internalised.
