Steer clear if you dislike politics at work
The good thingsOnly saving grace is salary is decent and benefits are good.
The challengesHigh turnover rate. People there seem to be more interested in playing politics rather than work. If you are not interested in bootlicking, you can't go far. Zero work-life balance, have to work even when on MCs and during weekends otherwise can never clear your emails. Supervisors like to micro-manage and no clear direction, do also wrong, don't do also wrong.

The good thingsAnnual leave, Work from home during COVID
The challengesExtremely stressful. Everybody is overloaded. The key skill to learn to survive is to pile up work without feeling guilty.

    Steer clear from this place
The good thingsA few exceptional colleagues
The challengesNo clear direction from management. Neither guidance nor leadership can be found from your reporting officer. Poor streamline of work processes. They only value bootlicker instead of people who can produce real work.

    Stay Away !
    The good thingsFew exceptional colleagues
The challengesSenior management in constant disagreement leading to no clear direction for the organization. As such, work turn around time expected is ridiculously fast when they change their minds. Micromanagement is very evident and promotion here is all about visibility instead of real work output. Redundant job scopes leading to duplication of roles. No guidance from RO. Absolutely shambolic.

    Supportive environment
The good thingsMy colleagues and supervisor were open to new ideas as long as they were logical Supervisor was very supportive in learning and development endeavours Cross department collaborations were useful in gaining new insights
The challengesPerhaps because it's a new area in healthcare, not everything is clearly structured and things are sometimes disorganized. High turnover rate results in loss of information when people leave without proper handover I think my experience here was more dependent on my supervisor being supportive and collaborative, instead of it being an overall company culture

    stay far away.
The good thingscolleagues were generally nice and helpful.
The challengesinfighting amongst management, lots of duplication in roles, lack of focus from management, it did not feel like the job was gearing towards helping families and seniors. Duties are thrown to you, you do it but question the relevance.

    Great career opportunities and teamwork
The good thingsColleagues are awesome and professional. Very willing to share their ideas, knowledge and experience. Love the learning culture and the continuous push for new ideas to better what we are doing currently. Meaningful work since we are helping seniors to age well by looking after their healthcare/social aspects.
The challengesFast paced work. People work very hard as they are dedicated to their work.
