    The good thingsManagement had always kept an open mind in receiving feedback and suggestions from all levels. Equal opportunities were given to all staff and the policy of promoting internal staff first before engaging external sources was always a plus for me.
    The challengesWorking in American Express felt like I was working as a family to achieve a goal and with that, we had to work fast and hard. It is a bank, so we had to always be innovative and fast-paced if we wanted to be ahead of the market.

    Organization is like one big family
    The good thingsEverybody working together as a family! If you’re not sure about something, just feel free to ask and you might find an answer. We have colleagues who are located in Malaysia as well as India. They are equally friendly and easy to work with.

    The good thingsEmployer was very understanding to needs of muslim staffs and those of other ethnic groups too. Colleagues were also cooperative and appreciative of the contributions made by others from within the team. Its never easy to get a Pro Family employer these days.
    The challengesNever use your ethnic minority status as a weakness. Speak when the opportunity arises. Its not about pleasing others but its all about Self Satisfaction. People can say anything they wish but once they notice you can deliver your role and responsibilities they will leave you alone.

    The challengesYou have to put in a lot of effort in everything you do. The company comes up with new projects every 2 months or so, Workload is heavy, and could have been spread in a much better way between staff
