    The challengesSet up in a shabbily manner, poor foundation and equally lousy management leading to downfall of company in a short span of 5 years. Things could have turn out better if they had proper long term planning. 1.Heavily relying on one customer is 1 big taboo in manufacturing industry. 2.New Product unable to launch in stipulated time. 3.Poor management!...Simply short sighted, resulting in overspending on logistics, operational and raw product cost. They are not able to bring down operating cost losing project to competitors. One good example eg. Cleanroom does not meet product requirement standard but insist manual labour of constant cleaning to compensate substandard cleanroom environments. Advice. If you are not capable and you happen to be on top. Don't be a stubborn mule. The people working on operational level are not incompetent or mere manual labourers. Just different prospective and objective in career path. Good luck AMS

    Extremely complex and disorganised organisation
    The good things- Decent pay and benefits. - The managers take care of subordinates' well being. However, this is relative as it depends on each department working culture and the supervisor's personality.
    The challenges- Major process issue, a lot of manual processes which are prone to human errors and yet, no checks and reviews are done on the tasks to minimise such errors. - Personnel who are avoiding responsibilities, when a major issue surfaced which involved various departments, some departments get really defensive and are not willing to perform further check to identify root cause. Some personnel will find a way to get away from the problems. - When faced with irregularities during day-to-day task, quite a number of employees make their own assumptions to close off the irregularities without considering the implications on the assumptions made. As a result, the assumptions create further issue which is usually more complex and challenging to rectify. - Inaccurate data maintained in the database due to existing IT system is not able to cater the complex processes in the company and yet, insufficient effort is done to enhance the IT system. - Tend to give in to customers' demand. - Complicated organisational structure - Due to the issues above, most employees life is hectic in this company which lead to poor communication, bad quality work and high turnover.

    The good thingsMy facilities department is the best department in my company, more challenge, know more ppl like office, production, contractor.... My big boss director, manager, engineers, colleague also a quite good/nice person, so friendly/support us when we need help on works.
    The challengesWe handle all the plant system like cooling tower, chiller, MAU/FAMU, exhaust system, vacuums system, compressors, dryers, DI water, WWTP...... with contractor as well BMS controlling for the system.

    Good learning, poor management (Heptagon)
    The good thingsChallenging work environment with good learning opportunities. Decent benefits are given.
    The challengesPoor system organisation and management. Employees are not taken care of. The high turnover rate is evidence of this. Not much scope for innovation as products are mainly customer driven and there is resistance to change/improvement unless it is customer driven. Things may change now that ams has taken over but this will take a while.
