    Experience of working at Apple
The good thingsApple Stocks, 600USD every 3 years for purchasing Apple Products, healthcare benefits, beer bash at least twice yearly
The challengesGrowth can be limited due to the many foreigners in the company. In my stint in Apple, less than 10 years, most of the advisors promoted to managerial level are from The Phillippines.

    Awesome culture, even better environment
The good thingsGreat food, better staff benefits, awesome people, even better perks! Working here gives you awesome staff benefits and the opportunity to meet great people and do great things. I recommend giving it a try
The challengesIf you have never used an apple product or used a mac OS based computer. Picking it up from scratch will be tough. But not impossible. Other than this, nothing much really. Give it a shot. Try your best!

Great, fantastic place to work, very comfortable.
The good thingspeople are friendly, nice to interact with, the usual MNC but with more openness, very american.
The challengestoo much impromptu issues, last minute issues that require attention, lack of follow ups, no proper guidelines leaving employees very lost on what to do.

    A wild ride
The good thingsThe most amazing work environment anyone can ask for. Chances are people working around you are diverse and incredibly smart and kind too. Work-life balance is advocated, so little to no overtime, or at the very least paid overtime. Your work is confidential, so you get workspace privacy. Oh also, food is good and reasonably priced.
The challengesYou may have plenty of ideas and feedbacks that you want to share, and they will usually be heard, but you may never be satisfied with the response if there is any at all. A constant reminder to self is needed that the rigidity is necessary to keep order—it IS a big company. If you are a contract staff, you'll be treated superbly, but perks are mediocre at best and there is zero career development.

My short stay in Apple SA
The good thingsExcellent staff benefits, welfare and facilities. Free parking (or scheduled company bus), staff canteen with gourmet food at hawker prices, cafeteria, staff discounts on Apple products, staff gym, corporate phone - all add to the list of good things extended to staff. Excellent branding Use of open spaces throughout the office give staff an informal and relaxing work environment.
The challengesAdjusting to a 100% non-Microsoft environment Be aware that the pace can be quite challenging as it is not only a tech company but one that is actively pushing boundaries in all areas.

The good thingsThe benefits are good. I like the Apple culture.
The challengesNot all departments follow the Apple culture. New hires bring their past company culture into the department which can be totally opposite to Apple culture. It makes things difficult for those working together who follows the right Apple culture.

    not what it seems
The good thingsdecent environment to work in.
The challengeslack of proper product and process training, leaving employees unprepared during major product launches with abysmal training facilities, e.g. Apple watch launch. Apple's reputation of being a company thriving in innovation is non existent. very minimal avenues to put across suggestions and ideas for improvement. Global MNC, but with an Asian-type bureaucratic structure. no bonuses and AWS

    Brief and forgettable one
The good thingsThe lax in grooming/work attire Staff discounts on company's products Continued support/ training for development
The challengesMicro management was rife and performance review was soley based on customer's evaluation. Supervisor has no power in negotiating for staffs personal matters Privacy policy was absurd; theres no way to access the company's vpn remotely even for work purposes.

    Jun 2015
1 to 2 years in the role, former employee
    Experience in Apple
The good thingsThe good things are benefit is good, attire is flexible, most colleagues are friendly. Able to learn more from senior and experience colleagues. Some colleagues same level even provide to help new staffs voluntarily. There are good and bad in a few top management. New staffs have to adapt and blend in. Have gym facilities, always have food for the team. Multi cultural environment. New friends.
The challengesThe challenges are to learn new products as fast as possible, facing up to managements who are not willingly to help or assist new staffs, sometimes can be a lone ranger. Have to willingly approve management many times to understand what the managements want. Have to be very patients in dealing with them. Some are helpful, some are not. Have to be friendly to get on their good side.
