    A good starting location!
The good thingsIt is a good environment for for fresh graduates (diploma/bachelors) to start at and experience working. The peers that you'll work with are friendly and the training is progressive.
The challengesIf you are looking for a decent salary or fast career progression, this is not the place for you. The company is expanding quick but its foundations aren't strong yet. It will be strong, but it will be a few years.

Very good for fresher to learn about the field instruments
The good thingsWe have a freedom to learn and do some experiment. your ideas and inputs are welcomed by the management and faculties. Team building and other program makes us to involves more together with other colleges.
The challengesTime management plays a major role, within short time we have workout and response to the work assigned to us. Communication and relationship with customers and vendors is more challenging for me. Especially with third party contractors.

A chill place to work in, can be a place for newbies
The good thingsOrganized, proper communication, easy to follow steps for individual task Clean and nice working environment Good new comer administration during 1st day Follow the task well, it can be a good day, everyday
The challengesIts a good job for inexperience individuals, if you are looking for dynamic environment with challenges, it might not be a place for you. The pay scale is decent for inexperience, but not the experienced individuals Most new hired are contract staff, conversion take time, may up till 2 years depends on your performance May get bored easily after some time

Avoid unless you can work under heavy verbal stress
The good thingsRelatively good work life balance considering it is an engineering company
The challengesMiddle management just keep loading and overloading with jobs, saying everything is easy. Looking at the amount of job advertisements posted speaks volume about its turnover.

    Summary of my previous workplace
The good thingsThis manufacturing company teaches me alot of skills in work. From being competent to even social skills like talking and learning for the experienced worker that worked for more than 10 years. The company also taught me about self discipline i had difficult to overcome with.
The challengesOne for the biggest challenge for me is definitely the languange barrier. First and far most, the company has alot of foreign workers who have diffiulty i speaking english language. One of the suggestion for this issue, is to send them some english courses. This will defintely help alot for the workers to work together in the company.

Don't go unless you are fine with low pay
The good thingsGenerally low stress. Come and go on time. There are office politics but you can also ignore them and still survive well. The key is to have low expectations. Annual bonus was not bad and there is yearly overseas leisure trip. Some colleagues are nice if you are nice to them as well.
The challengesIf you work hard and wish to have a fair pay, don't join here. You will find out the slackers earning as much as you do or even more than you do. If you are already here, thinking of your current job as a great opportunity to learn and earn experiences, but don't expect the company will one day pay you back with actual $.

A place with no career prospects but a good retirement place
The good thingsGood colleagues and direct boss. Relax and slow paced environment. Good for those who are looking for retirement.
The challengesBecause of the laid back culture, most of the old timer there are not motivated in their work area. For youngster or people with vitality could be disappointed by the work culture.

Job scope out of the position which suppose to handle
The good thingsColleagues from same dept is willingly to help to assist newbies to learn on the new ropes
The challengesManager often ask for requirements which is out of the possible limits. Often procurement role has even to extend to the assistance towards quality assurance, customer service feedback, accounting payment and even down to production improvement involvement. Role has been overlapped to other depts, which sometimes you may ask yourself, are you working for this dept or maybe other depts positions?
