Compelled to review so others don't suffer!
The good thingsStaff focused on respective work. No time for office politics(good). Good to be able to have lunch with other colleagues as lunch is prepared for staff.
The challengesSadly, i have to agree with all previous negative reviews! Top management has lost touch with basic work ethics and has unhealthy management style. Bad leadership (if any at all). No basic respect to staff, who is the backbone of any organisation. Regular morning pep talks were jokes that management themselves are not / unable to practise. Very disharmony.

The good thingsGenerally the company has very nice colleagues. Unlike some corporation, there is little office politics or inter-departments conflicts etc. It is a small, nice family. We bond with the students, alumni, each other and even the industry players lile chefs over food. Lunch is free and sometimes.exciting depending on the menus. Vibrant scenes and events of the F&B industry.
The challengesCompared to when I first started, the company undergoes too much changes. For me, it has kind of steered away from its initial vision to being a typical for-profit PEI. The high turnover rate is discouraging. Hiring seems to be focus on the high level positions, these days just too many new created high mgmt roles instead of focusing on the operation level which needs help.
