    Learn alot, Work alot
The good thingsVarious operations departments can inter-share working personnel for support to each other's projects Despite having administrative and HR issues, employees are united to work through graveyard hours to see that job completion is obtained to a satisfactory level. Working with different nationalities, allow for inter-cultural exposure as well as understanding of each other
The challengesWelfare and benefits could be reviewed, HR need to be more supportive towards employee matters Work-life balance pretty difficult to obtain working in a construction industry Maintenance equipment could be better managed and provided for operations Operations side can be better supported by HR staffing

Challenging and in need for lots of improvements to be competitive and to achieve timely reporting.
The good thingsThere are adequate headcounts to cover the required roles and my department head is receptive to proposed changes and improvements. Tight cashflow means more focus on this area in terms of tracking all bank balances, bank facilities and frequent transfer of funds.
The challengesSpeed of adapting to changes can be improved on Company wide actions especially decision on business system changes has been made much earlier. Despite this challenge, I have managed to complete the full business review and mapped out the full business flow using the new business system as well as meeting the deadline for implementation.
