If you are looking to work in a local SME with a vision to become one of Singapore's top 5 F&B coffeeshop chains, then this is the place for you.
The good thingsCohesiveness and strong team spirit, fun filled, and family oriented environment, always have food and drinks to share, good career progression, flexibility in management discretion, good learning environment, kind colleagues with reasonable expectations.
The challengesWork can sometimes be too easy, a lot of patience and empathy is required to cultivate a growth mindset, separating the wheat from the chaff, succession planning, job re-design for higher order level cognition and productivity, managing disparate impact.

    Poor management and culture.
The good thingsYou get to learnt alot and overwhelming workload.
The challengesVery traditional company that do not accept changes. I would say not a conducive environment to work in. Politics and toxic. Management do not accept changes or advise.

Go ahead if you could join the cliques
The good thingsWork life balance is very good especially for some departments. The top management is giving career development and also learning opportunities. They emphasises achievement, job performance and corporation social responsibility. The company is always seeking for improvement in job design and performance. They value your efforts.
The challengesThe communication either vertical or diagonal has to be improved, significantly, within the same function department or across. If the instruction and information from the top management could reach the lower layer of organisation so that staff knows they have ad-hoc report to prepare, could help to minimise the delay. Staff at the lower layer of the organisation seldom knows whats is going on and when things goes wrong, they might be blamed for they know nothing when no one was telling or sharing the info. You might know more if you manage to join the cliques.

Lack of structure in work flow process
The good thingsThe management does its best to encourage & educate employees in the way things are done in the company.
The challengesThere is a lack of proper structure as to how this company is run. In terms of job scope identity towards individual employees.
