Full Support from Upper Management (IFS)The good thingsAs long as open communication is kept, team feels secure from the support of the upper management. Do your due diligence and there should be nothing to worry about. Upper management don't mind coming down to meetings to assist and help out for as long as you give them ample information to have confidence in the meeting. Support works both ways. Stress at work mostly comes from client nominated staff (specific to our contract, may be different experience for others).
The challengesThey "throw you in the water", so you either sink or swim. That said, you learn the job running/on your feet so It helps to be independent, though top management is approachable, remember to come and consult problems with them with at least one suggestion or solution. As for your experience, will greatly depend on your contract assignment/client and how you react to/interact with them.
