    The good thingsPositive, friendly working environment where everyone is truly respectful towards everyone. An actual equal-opportunity employer - and I do not regret leaving my last employment where the environment is too "Chinese-oriented where everyone has to adopt the same thinking, same style of working and communication, even right down to individual personalities" just to take up this role.

    The challengesEmployee benefit regarding with their salary and also the promotion procedure is very much time consuming. Due to these factors those who are career oriented(New Generation) does not stay in this Bank for longer time.

    The good thingsThe bank that need not to cross selling aggressively.
    The challengesThe systems are not relevant, still need to use manual or 3 steps more compared other banks to finish a transaction. Other department staff from same company who will go to banking hall will give us a hard time. In fact if you are a customer service in banking hall received a complaint management will always blamed you for everything.

    CIMB bank experience
    The good thingsThe colleagues and the managers are very warm to talk to, even those in different depts. They are willing to teach you and take their time. Yearly bonuses are rather good though.
    The challengesExecutive management seem less concerned with the happening on the ground and benefits such as work life balance do not get translated well to the ground staff. Many feel burnt out with the overtime and uncompetitive salary.
