Work culture is superb if you don't time the long working hours and non-stop overtime
The good thingsManager and business working model are great. Hybrid work rocks! Great team collaboration and good teammates to work with.
The challengesSlow turnaround time for internal teams such as the RPA Team in responding to employees' request. Could have one or more analyst on the team on duty.

    Overworked, no work-life balance
The good thingsNice and supportive colleagues, benefits are okay. Shift allowance is given.
The challengesVery demanding especially during month-end, overtime will stretch into long hours. Pantry is quite pathetic with limited snacks and drinks.

    excellent start for fresh graduates
The good thingsThe role provided good insight into Fund Accounting and the experience has helped me to further my progress as an accountant in my current company(Blackstone), the largest alternative investment manager in the world. As a fresh graduate, it was an excellent platform for me learn and capitalise on massive loads of information on net asset valuation of funds and other key aspects of Fund accounting.
The challengesThere should be more training provided by the HR to better equip fund accountants to understand the operating systems used by by the Firm. Addressing key areas such slow progression of the employees as well as the few perks and low salary could better circumvent the problem of high employee turnover rate. The firm really should do more to retain staffs most of whom does long hours of overtime.

The good things- learned a lot from my job, technical and analytical skills have improved; - colleagues were fun to work with; - had regular team/company activities/events; - free food/drinks on Fridays; - Management was supportive of the employees
The challenges- provide better and higher monetary benefits; - give reasonable perfomance incentives/appraisal; - less OT hours

    Citco Experience
The good thingsThe company has offered good opportunities for career advancement and provided training for professional and technical development
The challengesThe usual challenge is the demand of the work during month ends to meet the deliverables.
