A good experience working with army organisations.
The good thingsExperiencing first hand, handling different types of weapon SAF uses. Understanding how SAF operates in depth. Working with army organisations is a different turn around then outside base company, as they operate differently then a normal organisations outside. Working with the army is required to be more committed to timings given, as they are very particular on punctuality, thus it made me to be more disiplined, and have a good time management.
The challengesWorking more than 15 hours daily. Sunday required to be committed. Working in a jungle environment. No fix lunch/dinner timing Overseas deployment commitment, 3, 4 times a year.

    No progression
The good thingsThere is a strong bonding between colleague which get things going. 5 day work week.
The challengesThe management is not organised, like to exchange fires between department. There is no career progression even individual has higher education certificate. Toxic environment where individual is not only control by own department but also other departments. Management will not seek opinion from staff and following the army organisation where rank is more important.

    Many good colleagues
The good thingsThere is one lady good enough to care for me by asking me when I am sad
The challengesNo procedures or guidelines given from superior. Have to learn the procedures from scratch. Number of times in the beginning have to make overseas calls on my own as was not given notebook to talk to staff internally.
