Could tell why turnover rate so high and the review so low, well-deserved.
The good thingsThey draw very big biscuits, check with chinese friends or see douyin for reference.
The challengesBad Hr support, harder to hold of anyone for assistance than finding durian in a watermelon tree.

    Terrible HQ Management
The good thingsa pleasant colleague to work with
The challengesBefore signing the contract, be careful to mull it through and ask additional questions. The company has poor HR, low compensation, a rule-heavy workplace where you must go by many Japan HQ laws, and working conditions that are identical to those in North Korea.

The good thingsThe colleagues are wonderful but too much politics there.
The challengesWe had too many instructions from HQ and then to SG and to our HOD. We hardly able to express the work experiences or any ideas.

Fun and great job, not stressful
The good thingsFun and stress-free job. As long as you do your job properly, tidy up selling floor. Staffs is very friendly too.
The challengesChallenges while working in this job is during peak hour period. As Daiso is very popular by all, so the store will be very busy, crowded and messy. We have to maintain the crowd by doing cashier faster and keep the store clean and helping other staffs.

    Under-staffed and high resignation rates.
The good thingsGood place tidyness in sales floor and rest rooms.
The challengesHigh resignation rates in all branches, reason being strict Japanese rules and regulation being applied to Daiso Singapore. Company perks and salary rates are poor compared to other supermarkets, and even under-staffed, company failed to promote itself and hire more personnel.

    First Working Experience
The good thingsMy initial goal whilst working in Daiso was to gain my first work experience and to improve my social skills while managing different work ethics. The good thingsIts a fun working place. Where we tend to meet customers from world wide Our shop has strict but understanding management, and the staffs are discipline, as it works like a shop in japan. The job is easy and has understandable job scope. Basically we are looking at a very straight forward job :)
The challengesThe customers enquiries of company policies and being understanding to the policies. The customer services we provided that also depends on customers understanding and time. Making sure customers are satisfied most of the time. Customers are not always right, but they are always understanding. Thats the biggest challenge.
