Excellent platform for the career opportunist
The good thingsDespite starting off as any other rank and file employee, management has given me many opportunities to boost my standing within the company. Management are extremely approachable and very open to any input you have. DAP is an emerging presence within the cosmetics supply chain line. As with any emerging companies, there are lapses that still require work. The realist might see this as a problem but any opportunist will see this a chance to shine. I took my chances to stand out and it paid off.
The challengesDepending on where you choose to stand within the company, work life balance may be a challenge. There are it's good days but there are also days where the crunch is hard. This is expected of any industry serving consumer retail. Seasonal periods require some serious time crunching and will you push you to the best of abilities... But this isn't anything new and certainly not exclusive to any one company. Workers with initiative will work their way around the problem. Rank and file will simply submit. The low star reviews left for DAP are not very fairly given in my experience.
