Poor Staff Benefits (Wait! Is there even one?)
The good thingsHonestly, if you are looking for a welfare company, this is definitely not the place. The salary here is average and you have to consider their restaurant is situated in an ulu area.
The challengesChallenges if you really need to know is to bear with the insufficient rest for the staff. Some of the staff here overwork.

    Overwhelming workload
The good thingsThe only thing good is probably the nice ambience of the working environment since it is a pet friendly restaurant.
The challenges- Long working hours - Not enough manpower - Poor staff meal Staffs are down with Covid and the company is not hiring anyone to cover the duty, the workload gets thrown to the remaining staffs and during weekends and peak hours, the customers that come in are crazy. And we dont even get enough rest...

    Trashy work environment
The good thingsThere is nothing good. There is no entitlement in this company and if you work here, you will see they expect to have service crew with good attitude to serve customers to cover up for the lousy quality pricey food.
The challengesToo little staff working in the restaurant. Nobody is willing to join due to low salary and poor benefits.

    Fast but manageable pace
The good thingsLet me experiment with roles that lets me develop myself. This let me gain new skillsets which made me into quite a versatile team player on their growing team. The small team makes it quite easy for communication, and the boss is around to help if I am stuck on anything.
The challengesCan be intense at the start because I need to learn many things quite quickly but I manage to keep up since the team was very helpful. I had to learn some new software that was implemented but it was easy enough to use after a few times.

Very involving management that is updated with trends
The good things- There was an update in their system which allowed better workflow and efficiency - Takes into account ideas and how it can be improved or implemented - Allows me to learn from mistakes, although it is emphasized not to repeat mistakes - Staff meals are a plus points since the chef lets us try new dishes
The challenges- Upon entering, there was a transitional period in management, the old management was very stubborn towards change but that is highly expected. - Old staff was resistant which resulted in plenty of distress and confusion for myself as I didn't know the underlying stories. - However, we are pushed to think for ourselves and find innovate ways to contribute to the company
