Great learning ground in MEP industry
The good thingsI joined DLE M&E as a fresh graduate Project Engineer and have learned a lot. Working on office fit-out projects gave me practical experience in electrical, ACMV, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Thankful to have a manager who’s been really supportive and has taught me a lot.
The challenges5.5-day work week and high workload during peak periods can be demanding, but offers great opportunity to grow if you're motivated.

A great company that values both its work and its people.
The good thingsDLE M&E is a family-focused company that truly cares about its people. It values employee well-being and creates a supportive environment where everyone feels appreciated.
The challengesWhile the construction industry can be tough, DLE M&E works hard to ensure its employees have a good work-life balance, showing they care even in a demanding field.

Company reputation is good, but high turnover in this position.
The good thingsColleagues are helpful and willing to guide. Company has many events.
The challengesManagement directors and (one of few) direct superior are harsh & do micromanage. Workload is high as everything has to follow many procedures. (This does not happen in other companies in Singapore - Tender costing is just simple & basic estimation.) In-house subcons are also quite difficult to deal with. Hint: Turnover is high in this position. If you have degree, you can get the same salary elsewhere with better work condition.

A normal job but not a career.
The good thingsColleagues and directors are helpful and willing to teach. Company activities are held almost every month. Salary is paid on time on the 28th-29th of every month.
The challengesExpect to work from 9am to 10pm during project peak period. Workload is too heavy for junior staffs, not suitable for fresh grad starting out in the industry. No AWS and over time.
