Double standards, poor leadership, apathetic mindset at the top
The good thingsThere are good staff you can depend on.
The challengesTop management are not leaders. The head is very arrogant and plays favourites. It is extremely obvious and HR does not do anything to protect the staff against unjust practices.

As long as I do my work, I am rewarded for my good work. I am happy here as I feel respected and appreciated for my work.
The good thingsThe overall vibe is like a family. There is no dissemination in terms of job title. Everyone is treated as professional in their own capacity. Understanding bosses if I need to attend to urgent personal matters.
The challengesSome people are too nice and cannot discipline non-performing staff.

The good thingsLunch time with some colleagues
The challengesToxic top management, always calling for unnecessary meetings. Promote those who can’t work but good at talking and delegating.

Ppl look for growth but there’s no growth here as processes are still very out-dated
The good thingsSome nice colleagues especially clinical side
The challengesVery old school and lots of manual work, very out dated processes. Lots of unnecessary long meetings and fault you for being incompetent when they took time away from you to do work.

The good thingsMany staff engagement activities for us to get to know everyone in the Hospice. Caring and friendly colleagues.
The challengesA few negative staff around. However this is common in all places, thankfully it is just a few of these here.

Toxic Top Management and Working Environment
The good thingsEnjoying working with clinical staff
The challengesLack support from non-clinical management team. The non-clinical HOD has been toxic and incapable of support and sub standard in handling/managing the staff's emotional health & well being. The top management forcing the long service staff to leave and bring in their own people to work with. A stressful and messy working environment
