Great working environment with great people!
The good thingsBoth operational and management staff are friendly and fun. We do many activities outside of work whether for clubs or spontaneous. Team building is frequent with a decent budget allocation per quarter. The work is relatively easy, but expectations are high. Over-time is likely, but not mandatory. Inter-department transfers are as frequent as you want. So, it's easy to learn a LOT!
The challengesAccomplishing all targets in a normal time span. Commuting to Pasay often takes forever. The annual reviews are difficult to make sense of - we're regularly rewarded for excellence, but still receive average ratings on our annual reviews which impact our salaries. Internal promotion is dependent on new tasks being migrated. If there are no new teams then there are no new positions.

An environment where it can prep you mentally and physically
The good thingsGood benefits compare to other freight forwarding company. Good career progression depends on where you are being allocated and department lead. Good problem solving knowledge as it helps you to broaden your knowledge
The challengesHave to be mentally prepared daily and need to learn everything yourself from basic, which is actually a good thing and you can learn along the way.

    Systems and Processes Manager
    Sep 2018

It has been an amazing journey of learning in the last 4 years!
The good thingsThe company has been on a constant quest for increasing productivity, increasing EBIT conversion rate, among others, through overhauling the current systems and processes, step by step, country by country!
The challengesToo many simultaneous projects and initiatives going on, with varying levels of commitment. Without excellent time management and support from all colleagues, one could easily lose hold and control of the projects to be effective!
