Do not recommend to work here based on my experience
The good thingsif you would like to gain experience in the education sector, and for my role, the healthcare sector too.
The challengesNot welcoming to newbies and helpful with information/guidance. Colleagues in the joint office with a healthcare system of Singapore where i was working at are self-centered in their working styles. Documentation was lacking and was told off when asked for help and guidance. A lot of stress that was unnecessary that could be avoided.

    A BIG family
The good thingsThough there are many staff from different countries working here, job nature varies very much too, but everybody are working very cohesively together; just like a BIG family. There are sessions for us to mingle and get to know folks working for other depts too, great initiative that the company has.
The challengesNeed to have basic background of research and education. Basics of this school is already much more complicated than other companies. It takes quite awhile to understand the fundamentals, which can be rather challenging for a start.

    The challengesI don't remember.

    Highly recommended career option!
The good thingsExcellent working environment complete with fun, reliable team-members and encouraging management team to facilitate one's professional growth and development. Working at Duke-NUS promises oneself with the opportunity to reach his/her full potential whilst at the same time, contribute back to the community at large by promoting the advancement of excellent healthcare education and research.
The challengesWorking at Duke-NUS is not without it's share of challenges, albeit just a few. One needs to be mentally ready to handle the workload and be on top of the tasks assigned to him/her. However, like in any other organisation, this can be easily resolved through constant communication, sheer determination and hard work.

    Experience of a Fresh Graduate
The good thingsThe working environment is soothing and calm. The staff are friendly and helpful when you face any difficulties. The food is quite cheap and nice.
The challengesThe passenger and cargo lifts could be better. The pantry has a whole more space to improve too.
