Customer Operations EngineerThe good thingsFixed shift pattern every week, 2-3-2. Alternate shift rotation every month, meaning this month you work day, the next month you work night. Since it's fixed, if you stay in the same team, your shift months will remain constant every year(this year, you work Night-shift in December, next year night shift also December) Internal progression has been observed.
Colleagues/Teammates can be awesome or mundane as any workplace. A few activities or event created.
A good place for entry level. A few interns retained/returned/resigned.
12-hours shift. 7-7.
2-3-2 pattern as follows,
2-days Work (Mon-Tue)
3-days OFF (Wed-Fri)
2-days Work (Sat-Sun)
The following week, you just swap the Work to OFF days, vice versa.
Hope this info helps.
The challengesLocation is not that accessible and food-court quite a distance. Currently, a few new hires to support the minimum headcount, so OT might be affected in the future. If you think will get OT, just remember, you're additional headcount therefore it will be lesser or close to none.
The Scope of work for COE is physical labor. Installation of 1 to 12 RU devices(could be 1 device or 20 devices. Depends of luck and customer expansion), monitoring of BMS and DCIM. Lots of fast-paced walking(Running) and reporting. Therefore, don't expect to join and perform coding or programming. The only configuring you'll be doing is just IP addresses.
NO AWS. Only VB/PB in March. Salary contract offered in Annual not Monthly terms. But you'll still get Monthly salary(for those confused).
Other DC offer higher remuneration package/basic.
