    Good place for middle career.
    The good thingsAbove market salary. Reasonable shift pattern. Co-payment door to door transportation. Excellent safety culture when company is doing well. Excellent career development if you can take the stress.
    The challengesVery lean organization structure which is on the brim of collapse. Everyone is expected to do more than their primary/secondary role. Not able to attract/retain talents. High turnover rate. Job rotation scheme encourage middle and top management to only focus on short term goals and pass the problem to the next successor.

    Routine lab job with a switch in role when I had to assist the chemist
    The good thingsThe colleagues were very helpful and very experienced.
    The challengesI was switched to a lab technician to assist the chemist, which was a fresh graduate at that time. There was no room for discussion about how to conduct the experiments. There was much distrust in opinions that I suggest.

    The good thingsHigh pay. Especially overtime compensation. Great colleagues creating good and supportive working environment. High standard of safety. Good shift pattern.
    The challengesVery challenging. Be mentally prepared to appease the management. They will ask u to do unecessary and excessive job that will not be a part of your job scope. Working here is not really about job execution but more of whether you can give the right answers to the management. Management will not deem you a good worker or hard working even if you manage operations smoothly. Instead they judge you based on knowledge and answers you give them even though the answers they wanna hear is against your logic.

Double standards of expectations from some management staffs can also be seen on contract staffs VS permanent staffs.     The good thingsMy supervisor is one of the best leader I have worked with. He taught me something that I may not get anywhere else. Friendship within the section is amazing. Most of the engineers are able to give you a helping hand. Safety issue is really strict. Pay is above average.
    The challengesThere is always rotation within the company. The rotation is frequent within a short period of time, hence there will always be handing off section to other colleague. This poses a challenge to maintain not only the high overall company's performance but the employee performance.
