    Long working hours and no opportunities on career expansion

    The challengesLong working hours No flexible of timing Very limited staff benefits given to the employees The bonus given split into two by given twice a year No appreciation of effort by the management and no career progression opportunity from the company Slow decision-making if ever they get made. Sometimes frustrating as processes are designed haphazardly and decisions are made in haste without thorough foresight.

    The good thingsSystematic training given by direct reports as well as there are opportunity for other soft skills training arranged by HR department to for people development. World-class system used by the company which provide life data and makes reports easy.
    The challengesIs a very dynamic working environment which need to adapt and adopt to new directions. Must be able to take instructions and directions immediately. Very heavy workload means needs to be able to multi-task as well as prioritize tasks effectively.

    Working in the night shift
    The good thingsI get to know many types of people working with me. Taking care of more than 20 staff on my shift. Overall working hour 7.5 hour per day. Dinner break and tea break 1.5 hrs. Working only 5 days a week.
    The challengesThe challenges given to me was to give more suggestion on improvement on our operation. The management have given me authority to run the night shift operation. The only thing that can be improve was to give additional bonus yearly excluding 13th month as the company is making profits. Overall benefits was good.
