    Great working environment
The good thingsBenefits and welfare are pretty nicely taken care of. Great colleagues and generally cooperative working culture. Lovely workspace that is welcoming and fun to be in.
The challengesDepartment that I was in was pretty demanding in terms of workload. Many processes and systems are still manually done, so could be quite hard to learn for starters. Lunch options is pretty limited too, so be prepare to go the distance or spend a lot on food.

    Unhealthy working enviroment
The good thingsThere were short breaks given Only some staff were nice Most of the workers are Part Timers ( Mostly students) It was great assisting tourist and guest coming from all parts of the world and having small chats whenever possible.
The challengesLong hours (10.5hrs and above) and you do not get to choose your shift even if you are a Part Timer/ contact based worker Pay is VERY low and is non-negotiable Some of the staff are very mean while some tend to be very immature Located at least 15 minutes walk from the MRT, so if you are in the morning shift, before work you are already tired by the time you reach locker room The lockers are meant to be shared but most of the staff would occupy or reserve the lockers and you will have a hard time to find an empty locker Food is not provided. The staff discount is only 10% and as a tourist attraction area, the food price is high. Some stalls do not even give discounts even if you are a staff.

    A fun working environment
The good thingsMy employer gave us privileges whenever they felt like we deserved it. My seniors have thought me very well and they are very approachable whenever i am unsure. Everyone treats each others more like family than just a normal worker.
The challengesTo be honest, nothing much. The management were perfect the way they were.

My longest and best part time job I've ever had!
The good thingsThe people there are very friendly and you will never feel left out. Interacting with tourists and even locals made the job even more lively. Made new friends from different departments was quite easy as everyone was willing to go out of their comfort zone and make new friends!
    The challengeslong standing hours.

The good thingsWe have great leaders who are willing to guide you especially if you are willing to learn and the flexibility of the part-time working hours are easy to cope with. Although the part-time staff come and go, every person you meet is a unique experience where great long-term friendships are forged. Your job as a driver in the Garden Cruiser department are both easy to learn and execute. Just keep a positive mind and attitude while working, and you will never regret.
The challengesGardens by the Bay could improve on the staff meals as well as locations. There are unfortunately very limited 'Halal' food stalls and food can be very expensive, even on staff price. If you are not an outdoors person, working here will be challenging as well as the Garden Cruiser department goes through weather conditions such as the scorching sun and the heavy downpours. Maintaining the vehicle and handling difficult customers will also be a challenge if you are not up for it.

    The best and relaxing workplace
The good thingsI get to see different types of flowers that changes every month. Also, not to forget, i make friends with people around the world and they a very friendly and kind towards all the staffs in Garden By the Bay.
The challengesAs for now, there's nothing to change but i wish the best for my previous company and hoping they could improve more by planting unique flowers so that people around the world or the Local could visit Gardens by the bay more often to see all sorts of beautiful fresh flowers.
