Very insightful for students for learning more about the operations and the real working industry
The good thingsI enjoyed friendly colleagues who gives opportunity for learning and care for one another. Thankful for the welcoming colleagues.
The challengesAs there is large number of employees, workload for HR tends to get too heavy and stressful. However, HR will do their best to take good care of their employees.

New hand still can do it well Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel
The good thingsThey teach me how to work start from the very beginning, and do not give me too many stressful . And my employer all is very kind and friendly, we work together like a family.
The challengesMay be they should add some more new menu. Sometime i think the menu for the roomservice is not enough.

The good thingsExcellent communication between my superior and myself. We spent additional time after office hours to discuss business and other issues. He taught me a lot of useful things which made me a better manager in my next jobs. We maintain a friendly professional contact even after my departure.
The challengesOwning company changed direction often and had many levels of communication into the hotel. Not all of which were going in the same direction. Hotel was new at the time and construction rectifications might have been easier with all going in the same direction.
