Fantastic experience as a trainee. If there is opening in full time, i would go for it, but i have to complete national service first. This hotel really encompasses Diversity, Equity and Inclusive (DE&I). Happy to have worked here during my traineeship.
The good thingsLearning a lot as a internship trainee. Really improve my personality as a person. Working environment is always happy as colleagues here are friendly, helpful. Sometimes you get tips from guests.
The challengesA lot of things to learn. Brand Standard, Brand Promises. Processes.

Couldn't ask for a better working environment.
The good thingsNo segregation among departments and when needed we work seemlessly together to ensure that the guests have a memorable stay.
The challengesThe only one is that there are a few who have been there since the opening and as tke saying goes, "You cannot teach old dogs new tricks"... However, after saying that they just must understand the relevance of the changes and how it would ease daily operations.

    Great place to work
The good thingsPlenty of opportunities to grow and learn. The company will regularly send employees for training and courses. Nice working environment with great food provided for staffs. Most of the staffs have worked for more than 10 years and that is a good thing because no one wants to leave. Old staffs even return to work for the company.
The challengesLacking of manpower which sometimes increase the workload, but it is the same for all hotels. No manpower. But other than that, I do not see any fault in this hotel.

    The only regret is leaving!
The good thingsOne of the few companies that actually deliver what they promise. Leaders in the company walks the talk, leads by example and puts in as much, if not more effort than you to make sure you are well taken care of. You can always count on support, not just from your own property, but other properties under the IHG brand to make sure you are well settled and well informed. A wonderful internal platform to keep everyone up-to-date with the company on what is happening in the International scene. Company standards are set and followed, Departments work well together and sees value as a whole hotel and not just as an individual department.
The challengesDue to the industry that it is in, long working hours are expected. There really isn't much wrong that this hotel is doing!
