Bonuses are the only good point to look forward.
The good thingsFlexible working hours, relax environment.
The challengesModerate salary, slow career progression. Those who threw letter still got back in with better salary package or job promotion.

The good thingsGreat Management Leaders who are open, transparent and supportive. Very competitive benefits on the high side. When business is good, Management share additional bonuses to the employees to recognize their contributions. It embrace DEI, Charity in giving back to society and Hybrid Working model and creates work life balance for the employees.
The challengesThe balance to provide for both office hours employees and shift employees are always a challenge if the employees doesn't see the remuneration as a full package

    Staff welfare and training opportunities
The good thingsThe staff welfare is good as almost every month there are events organised for employees (eg. overseas teambonding, family day, fruits fiesta). Staff can go for external training and the company will sponsor employees if they would like to pursue higher education.
The challengesIt is a challenge to work with lean manpower similar to other companies. The company is not traditional Japanese culture and most employees leave office on time to take company transport.

    Great Things Happened with HOYA!
The good thingsThat was so amazing when during my Salary Negotiation appointment with the company I was offered stuff beyond my expectation. It's something like I wanna cry. Everything's unexpected. They loved and valued their employees so much. They treat us family. They are very family-oriented. That was my first great experience after 5 years of working in a similar environment. P.S. Appraisal every 6 months.
The challengesI, together with about 30+ more group of Engineers and Technicians, as pioneers, spearheaded in building and opening the company \"from scratch\". From installation of all the machines, preparing the production layout, setting all the standards as to processes and specifications, up to documenting it all for ISO accreditition, and training of all newly-hired, I could say we really did worked so hard.
