A good experience to a visual merchandising world
The good thingsThey take their time to explain to you the different techniques of display and they even send you for workshops so that you are aware of what is going on. It is a fun environment to work in. Everyone is nice and friendly and they allow you to make mistakes as they believe that without mistakes you won't learn.
The challengesAs much as is it a fun environment to work in. It is pretty tiring as they are way too many displays and it constantly keeps you on your feet. You're always running around and everything on the schedule is tight.

    Pleasant Experience
The good thingsThe working culture and people! Everyone is helpful and willing to help out where they can. Your feedback will definitely be heard if you have trouble at work.
The challengesEven for the Full Time Staffs, I observed that they still do not know a lot of matters. The management level should consider investing on some training (product knowledge, customer service etc) for their staffs on all levels.

    Awesome work experience
The good thingsThe people. I have never work with super duper good people. From the manager to team leader and the staff. Not forgetting the other staff from other department. You will get to meet them no matter where you work at. In ikea, you will need a lot of teamwork and communication. I can say ikea will be the place that i will never have regret of applying it. The work can be hard at first but trust me the people around you will welcome you and make you feel like home.
The challengesThere will be some challenging customer that you need to have patience and learn to serve them in a proper way. Ikea will always send the staff to training to upgrade your service in every department you working at.

The challengesTo learn is to have your own initiatives and intentions to grow and be developed for you are responsible for your own career growth in the company. Must be open minded and keep your views wide and understanding to the highest level as much as possible. being logical is good but having reserve tactics is better.
