    The challengesDon’t you think its suspicious to have so many good reviews on the same day? And a day after and 2 days after? Again, 6x bonus was bs. Its just incentives (provided if the centre is doing well)

    Good food and healthy working enviroment!
    The good thingsI am a new staff here but I was grateful to the Directors and management for considering me and eventually make me as one of the team member. The staff gave me a warm welcome on my very 1st day here. And they accommodate to me well, helpful and give me time to adapt to routine and environment. I am looking forward for the team dynamic and creating good memories with children and staff. And yes, the food is AWESOME and yummy!

    Growth for my teaching career.
    The good thingsChoosing to work in Ilham Childcare was an amazing step to prove myself that I am capable to learn and can do more beyond my expectations. The management will give their support to their employees who are willing to learn and grow by sending the staff to the courses that they wish to attend. For me, this is something that I like most in choosing Ilham Childcare. I was assigned at Ubi branch, I have a great team
    The challengesIf you don't communicate with the team, you might struggle to handle your time management to do the working loads. Things will get easy if you ask for help from the leaders especially. You need to reach out to the right people.

    Opportunity to grow and be flexible
    The good thingsThe mgmt and the working culture allows you to try many hats at the same time to expand and lend your expertise in different areas, such as cooking and reviewing lesson plans. The mgmt are people like us, working together hand in hand for the betterment of the centre, as well as to provide quality care and education to the children enrolled in the centre. They have many enrichments provided that helps create a holistic all rounded learning experience for the Teachers as well as the children FOOD IS LOVELY, can never go hungry when our cook is in the house, even the children goes for atleast double during lunch, especially for snack time.
    The challengesTime management is an issue as there is no such thing as no work. There are always things to do around in the centre, even after your shift is over. The teachers help one another and look out for each other. It takes a while for the teachers to warm up with each other but the team currently at both centres East and West works well together.

    The good thingsIn Ilham, the learning does not stop there. We as teachers were given endless opportunities to upgrade ourselves to be a better teacher for our students.
    The challengesThe challenges working as a first-time educator is quite hard. But in ilham child care, they made me feel easy and comfortable in facing with the challenges. We have one big family in ilham that help each other in good and bad times.

    My experience at work at Ilham childcare
    The good thingsHi I am new here! Working hand in hand with their marketing team. To give you my honest opinion I love the working culture here in Ilham, they are definitely growing into a really good child care centre with really good/strong foundation in terms of their holistics as well as good and amazing teachers/principals on top of that the staffs here are very nice and friendly they were so welcoming when i first entered Ilham. In addition, the directors and hr manager here are so nice towards fresh graduates, like they are willing to take in inexperience fresh grads like me and I am so grateful to be accepted here as finding for jobs during covid is not easy and they are always open for discussion whenever I have something to share with them unlike my previous jobs (intern etc). Whatever reviews was stated in the past I guess it is just the bad experience some people have encountered in their previous years but right now I am actually enjoying myself here with Ilham bosses/ staffs and the kids. Here they practice mutual respect towards everyone including our chefs and janitor overall I am having pretty good experience here tho. :)) Loves it ~

    On the job learning regarding early childhood
    The good thingsOpportunity to learn to be a childcare teacher with no experience. Felt welcome, and ideas were appreciated.
    The challengesSome people were hard to get along with but they left and the rest of the team were nice and helpful. Food was a bonus, delicious food cooked esp for the teachers, and the mgmt would treat us randomly.

    The good thingsEveryone looks out for one another. It helps to have good people working. The bosses now comes down more frequently to be more familiar with how things are on ground. Everyone is equal in terms of praising and reprimanding.
    The challengesThe holistic curriculum means more workload for the Teachers as Ilham has their own framework adopted from NEL. It’s comparative to MindChamps, academic wise.

    Great experience and environment to work in
    The good thingsI feel safe and secure working with the staffs here. Love how the staffs here are willing to help out with one another and not keep knowledge and experiences to themselves. Food is very delicious too.
    The challengesThe datelines to complete the work can be stressful sometimes but with proper time management, it can get less pressurizing as times pass by.

    LOVE THE POEPLE AND THE FOOD.
    The good thingsI just work here for about a month. THE CULTURE HERE IS AMAZING! Food is being taken care of.. No experience, no education and they still take me in. Nice bosses and principals. I love my HR. Never had an HR that could be so considerate, helpful and knows everything. The cook here, satisfy your cravings.. Masyaallah.. I couldn't be more thankful..

    The challengesThe datelines can be stressful sometimes but if you are consistently working on it, the stress level will decrease eventually. Stress is everywhere. It is how you cope with it.

    Opportunities to grow!
    The good thingsLove it! Over this past few years, I’ve given the opportunity to grow and also given the role as a curriculum specialist! I’m actually quite happy as this is what I wanted to do. Management listens to your feedback and suggestions to ensure that the centre caters the needs of staff and children too!
    The challengesChallenges is adapting to changes. As management will try to quickly adapt to the changes to provide the best for the children.

    Awesome team, great support!
    The good thingsThe management are approachable for us to give suggestions or areas of improvement. I love how we always try to inculcate new ideas and have the freedom to implement lessons or decorate the classrooms with the support of the Principal. The parents, children and the team in Tradehub is great!
    The challengesOf course there are days that our paper work could get overwhelm which is nothing new in the early childhood industry, but with the help of everyone, I find that the work I do is meaningful.

    Autonomy given to all staff to decide things in company
    The good thingsYou are a big fish in a small pond and I can get to have lots of opportunities in this company. I even have autonomy to choose my own teaching classes and duties. I feel my voice is also heard

    The good thingsAs long as you work hard and work well you will be very much rewarded . Awesome colleagues and management who understand us. Great support and I love the aunties who cook for us. At first I was skinny and now I’m fat as everyday have delicious food supplied by the company

    The challengesIf you have a good heart and care for the students you will have no problem working here . It’s only when you just want to slack and short change the students then you will have a problem .
