Overall, it was a positive experience, though there is room for improvement at the management level. The good thingsWhat I enjoyed most about working there was the supportive environment across departments. Staff from other teams were generally friendly, approachable, and willing to assist when help was required. There was a strong sense of mutual respect and collaboration when working with these teams, which made cross-departmental tasks more pleasant and efficient.
The challengesThe IT and Facilities departments could collaborate to develop a more integrated system that supports smoother and more efficient work processes.
Additionally, it would be beneficial for senior management to review how minor, unintentional incidents are handled. Penalising employees for small operational oversights, such as not opening an automated door, and treating them as grounds for severe consequences can negatively impact morale. A more proportionate and fair approach would help foster a healthier and more professional working environment.
